MOE DMA will be uninstalled from your child’s/ward’s PLD on
6 November 2026 (Cohort of Graduating Students: 4NT)
27 November 2026 (Cohort of Graduating Students: 4NA, 4E, 5NA)
as he/she is graduating from the school.
After the MOE DMA has been uninstalled, your child/ward will be able to use the PLD without the MOE DMA. Your child’s/ward’s browsing activity will no longer be monitored and the browsing history on his/her PLD will also be deleted from the DMA system server.
Actions required by your child/ward
Before the MOE DMA uninstallation (Date stated above): Please ensure that all data on your child’s/ward’s PLD and school cloud storage is backed up (e.g. saved on a personal external and/or cloud storage) at least one day before the MOE DMA uninstallation. Data not backed up will not be retrievable in the event of data loss during the factory reset.
On the day of MOE DMA uninstallation: Please ensure that the PLD is switched on and connected to the Internet for the entire day. This is to ensure PLD receives the factory reset command to completely remove the MOE DMA.
Important: Remind your child/ward connects their PLD to a power outlet, or ensure it has at least 50% battery charge, to prevent any issues during the factory reset process.

Should your child/ward require technical assistance to perform the backup, or if the MOE DMA on your child’s/ward’s PLD has not been uninstalled successfully, please contact the school at 6876 7129.

Warranty
This warranty warrants that the product will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the limited warranty period of 3 years.
Allows for 2 repairs or 1 replacement
Insurance
The device insurance coverage includes: Damage to or loss of device from the following which are non-manufacturer defects or internal mechanical faults:
Fire
Lightning
Power Surges
Accidental (e.g. water spillage, drop etc)
Theft due to forcible entry
Robbery
The insurance coverage is only applicable to situations of damages and loss where the student has taken precautions to safeguard the device.
Note: Once insurance is claimed for a replacement device, the insurance coverage will cease and the replacement device will not be covered by insurance.
